I was unable to post two quite lengthy things today and lost what I wrote.

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.

There is a period of time before your browser Time Out occurs.
Then would be recommended type the text and corrections in a text editor such as WordPad or Note Pad to not lose the typed text.

Thanks for the info. I don't think I'll be going down that road again. In the future it'll just be short and to the point. Although I think I've posted quite lengthy things in the past without problems, but possibly not as long as today.

In the past I used to type texts in the WordPad, but now I changed to just copy the full text after its done with Control+A and Control+C and then enter/post, very simple.

I’ve had the same happen to me in other forums.  If not creating in a separate text editor I’ll copy my response before hitting post.

Did you recently log in? There is a box to check if you want to stay logged on otherwise I believe it times you out.

The default logon time are 60 minutes,
it can be extended to 999 minutes.

That's interesting, perhaps I'll try that for a third try today.

Well, I just had success posting my story by checking the box saying stay logged in, and whether that's the reason for success, or the fact that I raced through the story making it far shorter and I suspect less entertaining it at least conveys what might be useful info for others.
