Capacitor For HPF
« on: 7 Oct 2025, 07:17 pm »
I'm looking to buy a Miflex copper foil cap for a HPF. The value is 0.10uF. There are two available. one is 600VDC and the other 250VDC. What's the difference and which should i choose?
Thanks,
Stephen

For a hpf, 250v is just fine. You're sending signals of only a few volts, so no need for ultra heavy duty that I've found. If you were talking use inside your components that require 400v operation, that'd be a different story  :o
