I would like to give a special shout out to all the NX-Treme owners for letting us use an NX-Treme crate to hold all of the drivers.  :green: :P

The picture is deceiving... the left and right crates will not fit thru the single door sideways. Fisheye in this image because I had to zoom out so far. It's gotta be 8' long.  Danny and I had our hands full just standing up an empty 20/21 enclosure in it's crate.

The crate in the middle holds the flatpack for an NX-Treme speaker.  Plus 2 large cardboard boxes of other stuff.

Line Arrays take WORK, and they are not easy to make happen.

Super nice cabinet!
I thought there were are assembled...
It's going to take forever to mount and connect all these drivers...
I'm anxious to get your feedback on the sound.

Hey Jim, glad to see you finally had these arrive. Also super excited to see how these things work out for you. Sounds like you'll have some fun wiring this next week.

I am glad they are not, because they will be more special that way... you'll see.  They actually have a neat setup for how the tweeters are installed.  You and I can figure that out when the time comes.  :green:

If these were assembled, I have no idea what that number would be. Very large 5 figures.  So much Labor and Time.

Just shipping these costs "a pair of Encore speakers"...

I remember how long it took me to build my LS9 speakers.  Just take your time, and don't forget the No-Rez.

I remember how long it took me to build my LS9 speakers.  Just take your time, and don't forget the No-Rez.

No-Rez was in the 2 extra boxes... sandwiching a bunch of copper foil inductors.

Danny went out of his way to order some custom copper foil inductors for these.  And, he tweaked one of the inductor values on the woofers to nudge things just a bit.

I guess over the last 15 or 20 years, a fresh perspective has been applied to this network based on all of that experience...  8)

I need your help with something... please pester me for updates, as needed.

I work too much and need to make time.

You are a VERY lucky person, that loudspeaker configuration is one of the best possible ever produced. Please take your time sourcing and configuring parts and pay serious attention to your wiring harness, I can assist you there (ask me how I know) the wait WILL be worth the patience. Mr Ritchie was on the cusp of world class products, IP technology transfer issues precluded those efforts, superior products would have resulted. Please post more descriptions and pictures as your build progresses. I'll bring the popcorn.

Be well.

I am really glad you reached out.  This has involved planes, trains, and automobiles... literally!  :green:

When you take the next step, you can sometimes make your own luck... and in fact, that can happen with special wire too.

I am going to do my best with these... while trying to remain somewhat $ane.

I am glad to have made some friends at Shunyata Research, who have been all too happy to help.

I am also working on that large value in the woofer network.  The crossovers will be BIG and external... We will see which "Large Cap Stocks" are available to invest in.

I am focusing on how to flow CURRENT to 82 drivers... Fortunately, I have a pair of Pass Labs XA200.5 monoblock amps (among other things).

I am going to experience 200 watts of pure Class A driving these, along with the new First Watt SIT-5 amps (my favorite)... and I hope many others can experience it as well.

I'd like to think they will have the best of the best.  I will share more for sure but it will take some time to write it up.

Thanks again for reaching out and I will surely appreciate your help.  8)
