would I be better off to bridge the amp?

If so, how would I connect the subs. (and what switches to turn on the amp?)

Could you give some more detail as I'm not sure what you're asking. I can tell you though that if you bridge the amp you only get one channel instead of two so with three subs you'd need three amps.  To bridge an amp you usually have a switch in back then connect a positive from each side of the outputs.

If I hooked both subs up to one bridged channel , would it sound better? (the subs are mono )

And if I hooked both subs , they would present the amp with a 4ohm load instead of 8?

Once you bridge an amp it sees and 8 ohm load as 4 ohms.  So it you put both Originals on at 8 ohms it would see a 2 ohm load. I'd get a different amp as that's a very low load but the qsc may take it.

I wouldn't bridge the amp.  The subs are already 4 ohm, which is low.  If you do bridge the amp, you could connect the subs in series, which would at least give you 8 ohms.  Try it without bridging and see what you think.  Also, does your QSChave a fan?  If so, I can tell you a very quiet fan to get.

My subs say 8 ohms .

I will leave it unbridged. It does have alot of power. I already replaced the fan and now it is very quiet.

regardless of whether or not bridging an amp makes it sound better or worse (my personal opinion is that it will usually make it sound worse, but it waries, from amp to amp), you should not be bridging in your situation.  why?  cuz for best subwoofing, stereo subs are required.  run one sub on the right channel, the other on the left channel...

Some day I'll pick up a stereo crossover (or another x-30)  and try that, thanks.

i would highly recommend it.  

fyi, re: bridging, i found running a sub from a single channel of an original adcom gfa555 stereo amp sounded better than when the amp was bridged...

I haven't picked up another xo yet, few other expenses to take care of (new baby arrived sept 27th)

They do sound "boomy" , I think I need to try a eq.
