This will be an interesting development to follow. I’m hardly the golden eared expert with massive experience comparing gear, but my limited experience and a lot of talk suggests well crafted class D can be magical.
I don’t think my experience and aural gifts are too far from the norm. Given the increasing cost of high end gear, the emergence of quality, lower cost gear, shifting demographics, and cooling discretionary spending leaves room for Bryston and others to fill in lower cost tier gear. Maybe it’s more than room. Maybe it’s a business imperatives.
