After The Gold Rush wasn't my favourite Neil album, neither was Harvest, Rust Never Sleeps was good, but has it's low points. I think the problem with Neil is that he can't do an entire good album, but has some great stuff on each one. That's why I just picked up Decade, a dual CD "best of". It's got Mr. Soul, Cinnamon Girl, all the great Young tunes. The recordings leave something to be desired, but it's a good example of how the "Grandfather of Grunge" got going. You can hear all those 5th chords in there all over the place, recorded almost 30 years ago.
