I use Duelund.
The new resistors from GR Research are also probably up there based on build quality and materials. But I haven’t heard them myself yet.
I've briefly heard a network with Duelund CAST resistors on my Merlins, but those Esotars are gone now, will use that stuff for something else.
I spoke to Danny a while back about his resistors and I know he likes them and they sounded like they were made well. I think the leads are heavier gauge copper, tinned... just made very well for that style.
I have had some version of the green ones in my Duette crossover and love those speakers. I've seen the ridged and smooth versions.
Then, the other night I put a pair of speaker cables in that Frederick sent to me (and we are both over the top about)... much more open and natural. It was stark, and I was using $2k plus cables including Cardas Clear. That change reminded me that things can be a lot better than you may realize, and you just don't know it until you hear it.
The unique size of the Duelund needs to be accounted for in the layout of the crossover. You know... perhaps I should figure on that size and I can always swap in / try others. I suppose it's even possible that if a tweak were needed for balance, resistors would need to to be "easily" swapped.
This is a picture from an NX-Studio crossover Frederick made for me. The idea was to be able to swap out parts. See the Duelund back there.
This is a neat way to be able to play with parts in a speaker. Too bad one of my NX-Studio flatpacks got thrown away by mistake.
