Did you see the recent review by Danny on the discrete op amp by Sparkos?

Both my SACD player (Sony XA-5400ES) and Blu-ray player (Oppo UDP-203) have discrete op amps that could be upgraded with the Sparkos discrete op amp.  However, I opened both machines and failed to locate where they are.

I am in Northern California, are you able to work on my disc players and replace the op amp?

Yes, Hobbs is correct. In my experience not all uses a socket type application.

Hi Everyone,

I just want to greet all my fellow AC  people a Happy and Blessed New Year. I know I have not posted in awhile but I have been consistently building crossover upgrades, it was mostly the same crossovers and parts so I did not take the time to post pictures. I have a few interesting photos though that I am posting today.

Thank you very much. If you have any questions you can reach me thru 562-569-8662. My email is frederickdelrosario111@gmail.com.

Frederick, that last pic looks familiar, like what is in FedEx for me....am really looking forward to putting the speakers together. What is your recommendation on fastening them to the bottom of the case?

I would recommend a layer of foam or rubber underneath the board then fasten with screws. The speaker is a good size so it wont be hard to get your hand inside there, I also use 90 degree drill adaptor to reach inside the cabinet. Call me and I will be happy to elaborate. Thank you Phil.

Happy Sunday Everyone,

I just wanted to post a photo of a Gr Research crossover upgrade, this had to go on 2 separate boards due to space issues. The foil Inductors and the Copper foil bypass caps take alot of space. Thank you and have a Blessed day.

I must say Fredrick's work is exceptional.  He will work with you with whatever parts  you want in your crossovers.  His work is so exceptional that you can display out in the open for everyone to see because it adds a cool factor.

Happy Sunday Everyone,

I just wanted to share this photo pf a project I just finished a few days ago, GR Research 3way crossover upgrade. The owner sent me some of his preferred Pelican style polycase to be the eclosure for the external crossover.

Thank you very much.

uncola

wow those external crossovers in the small pelican cases look amazing.  I bet external crossovers with acrylic plates on top for protection would look great too
