Almost a shame to part with these, but I don't have a constant use case for them, and I'd rather have someone use and appreciate them.
A short summary to those not in the know. Allison speakers are made to work with room boundaries, and thus need to be placed fully against the wall. So only 2 square feet of living space need be dedicated to these. But they use proprietary ultra-wide dispersion mids and tweeters to create a stereo image so wide it makes your room seem considerably larger than it is. The acoustic suspension bass from the 10" woofer is surprisingly strong for the cabinet size.
In size comparison with my Von Schweikert VR-33's, which were also designed for front wall placement:

I've compared these two pairs of speakers (writeup still forthcoming) and I will say from my own experience the CD-9 is 85% of the speaker the VR-33 is, even though it's 25 years older, a foot shorter, and barely over half the weight. Its output defies its size!
Woofers were re-foamed in summer 2020 after I acquired them. My wife put new stain on the veneer, and fresh paint on the rear panels. All original drivers, and original grilles. They look and sound great!
