I joined this circle primarily to learn more about conditioners that utilize isolation or balanced transformers, and how they differ from conditioners that don't utilize transformers.

Is there a tutorial that discusses the use of isolation vs balanced transformers, and if so, can someone please point me to it?

Thank you, in advance...

Go to websites like Torus, PS Audio, Silver Circle, and Core Power to start.

What are you trying to achieve? All balanced trannys I ever used inhibited music to some extent, some more than others.

Check out Puritan audio. Non-restrictive. Best I have ever used.

While there are NEC rules for permanently hard wired isolation transformers wired as a Separately Derived Systems, there is a entire NEC Article on balanced transformers.
The Middle Atlantic white paper has a section on power transformers:
Darn, the new owner's have lost the paper!
