Welcome back into audio!
UPS/FedEx would probably box them up for a price, but what shape they'll arrive in would be in question. Do you have any trusted friends in TX that could box up your gear? Yellow Freight, etc. could handle bigger/heavier boxes. Years ago I commissioned floor standing loudspeakers from over 800 miles away. Ended up picking them up on a family vacation a few months after they were done (had to rent a U-haul).
In ten years digital has gone almost completely to streaming. Open baffle loudspeakers have gained popularity around here, but the leading edge loudspeaker designs have gone into wave guide (shallow horn) for controlled directivity and active design (sophisticated/digital low voltage crossover feeding one channel of amplification per driver) for all around better performance. Active design follows what professional studios have been doing for decades. Another trend is understanding the importance of the listening environment (size, shape, insulation, setup, treatments). Setup includes the value of having separate bass and mid/treble locations (multiple carefully placed subwoofers in corners or midway along walls).
