These have been SOLD, thanks!

Tekton Design Pendragon version 1, i.e. the original production version before his shift to the current "horn-style" tweeter crossover.  I'd moved my living room to Tekton Double Impacts with upgraded crossovers a few years ago and the Pendragons got moved to my "lab" space for music/light tv use.  They still work as well as they did originally as far as I can tell.

Selling because I'm now moving my living room to a custom-built digital crossover/tri-amped setup, so one of the sets of big Tekton floorstanders have to go  (I suppose if someone asks about the semi-gloss black Double Impacts with charcoal grills I'd consider those too, but the Pendragons are what I'm listing...).  The Double Impacts are indeed better, but not hugely so and I still consider them to be roughly in the same "class" for overall listening quality, and only recently had I heard something which was a big step up (the custom built stack which ends up being much more expensive to get to that next level, but hey it's a hobby for fun so I'm going for it).

Thinking of $900 obo, will entertain reasonable offers.  Want to keep it local pickup in Portland/Oregon since my boxes are long gone (I have the Double Impact boxes which would *mostly* fit, but currently disinclined to try that).

Stats:
  • 2 - 10" "Pendragon" transducer
  • 3 - 1" tweeter  (SB Acoustics ring radiator)
  • 4 Ohm impedance
  • 98db 2.83V @ 1M  (2 watts since 4 Ohm)
  • Frequency response  20Hz - 30kHz (I generated white noise in the 20-20k range once and the eyeballing the FFT looked surprisingly flat!)
  • Height 54" x Width 12" x Depth 16"
  • 89 lbs per speaker

They are painted in a semi-gloss/semi-matte deep forest green color.  Note there are a few pinhead or smaller sized nicks in the paint that are not very visible.
