I should have done a formal introduction somewhat earlier. I live in Nashville, Tn. I am a long time audiophile not associated with any manufacturer or dealer. My audio hobby started back in the late 1970's with Audio Research tube equipment driving Magnepan speakers, first MG2B's and then Tympani 1D's. I have had a number of excellent dynamic driver speakers including models from Magico, Wilson and B&W, but I inevitably return to planar speakers, Sound Labs, Magnepans, a number of Quad models, and Martin Logans - most recently the CLX's which I have had for a number of years. I have used both tube and solid state amps but recently have used a number of excellent solid state amps. Look forward to hearing from many of you.
