You can connect the computer to the AVR with wifi or ethernet (cable). With a software player you can make a streaming to the AVR and it decodes the music with the own DAC. With bluetooth tue sound quality is worse but...

And you can easy add a subwoofer in the future.

First I would use of the room equalizer with YPAO system of Yamaha. It is not the best but its is OK.

These AVR is better option than a cheap old class D amplifier with DAC inside.

My top pick would be a used NAD D 3020 integrated amp. It has a built-in DAC and sub out. Here is one for $300 on Ebay. A friend of mine has one as well as a lot of other expensive gear and rates the NAD as a best buy. It even has a remote control.

Consider a Dayton Audio DTA-120A or a Topping TP-60.  I have the older Dayton DTA-100A driving a pair of Monitor Audio S1 speakers.  The little integrated digital amp sounds great with a wide airy sound stage and deep bass.  The newer 120A has a bit more power and is rated for 4 ohm speakers.
I see they now have a blue tooth version as well.  I would not pair it with speakers that have a sensitivity below 89dB and as long as you don't turn it up to ear bleeding levels it sounds surprising great, especially when paired with a decent DAC.  It is an integrated amp but you can pair it with a preamp.  You will get 30 to 50 wpc of usable clean power.

I would also recommend the NAD 3020. It's going to do everything you asked for and they really do sound good. Get a refurb. or a good looking used one to save a little more. Emotiva would also be a good option but I haven't heard one of those.

By  the way, you made a good choice with Danny's little speaker. He knows how to get a lot of bang for the buck.

Here's another option, this Nuforce NuForce Dda120 integrated has digital and analog inputs plus a bluetooth dongle for a smartphone. I haven't heard this particular model but Nuforce is known for being an audiophile budget product. Maybe someone else has heard this.

This amp got Absolute Sound Editors Choice Award in 2016 so it must be decent. $249.00. Ebay has 5 of them right now in silver, black is another $100.00.

Problem: without sub output to connect a cheap sub. But you can always buy in the future a powered sub and connected "by high" the speakers. The same with the Audiosurce and others.

Nothing against Maty but I think he tends to rely too much on measurements and not enough on what an amp actually sounds like. I'm pretty sure he hasn't heard the Dd120 or maybe any of the amps he's commented on in your thread.

The amp 100 is an amp I'm very familiar with. We have used them many times for whole house audio installations where each amp drives a pair of in wall or in ceiling speakers. We use them strictly for back ground music and nothing more. Probably any of the amps mentioned so far will sound more open, with more detail and clarity than what you are used to with your amp.

I don't think you can go wrong with one of these two amps and don't get caught up in measurements. Most of all enjoy your purchase. There's no reason to make it too hard. The reason I mentioned the Dd120 is it has some great features, the company has a good reputation for entry level hi end audio and the price is in your budget. Plus since it won an award it probably sounds pretty good. The NAD 3020 is an oldie but goody and it will smoke your audiosource amp, I have heard them both.

SNR at 1 watt of 54 dB is a horrible, unacceptable measurement no matter how audiophile you are.

Very good measurements do not guarantee that the sound will be very good. It can be sterile, cold ... But such terrible measurements guarantee you that it is a terrible purchase. Spoils the sound yes or yes.  Only at very high volumes it will have a better SNR. With noisy music and very bad recorded.

The max power is 39 watts at 8 Ohms. Then the SNR is about 70 dB, already unacceptable.

But of course, how important is mathematics?
