Interesting promo piece. I will be interested to get the views from users. It sounds similar to the technology J 10 was hawking for Harmonic Technology a couple months back?

If you can't beat 'em join 'em, right?  But there's one problem, the name.  It should be called Monster GLOB!  Is it too late to change the patent application?!

Highly doubt it.
Quote "Illumination Biasing System (IBS™) which encompasses the entire magnetic field flux density of the cable’s eddy currents thus eliminating typical back EMF distortions generated by the loudspeaker. "

I don't know why they feel the need to knock battery-biased dielectric camp, which works just fine, in order to promote this "new" technology.

With 1.5V battery, though, I doubt there's anything heavy-duty going on.  I wish they would divulge what they are really doing, but their use of black-colored dielectric and 1.5V battery would lead me to believe they are generating photons (light) off of the battery and somehow immersing the cable's conductors with the light, absorbing the stray light with the black stuff.  How this eliminates back EMF, God knows..

·         For maximum effectiveness, the GLOB™ system must be replaced daily – sometimes twice a day during heavy usage.

Note:  GLOB™ accessories may be purchased in bulk for additional savings.

Of course it is

Or, Monster GLOB with IBS™ (Illumination Biasing System) and SUE™ (Stereo Upgrade Exaggerationism).

At least they have a sense of humour over at Audioholics. Now if they could just figure out that a HT receiver is not a 'reference' piece of audio equipment. Next someone needs to show them how to place and set up speakers in a room.

Probably Not, but only the great Professor Lirpa can know for sure.

Dan, has it been cross-field voodooed for maximum subparticle high velocity rejection? I ask because of the dangers of estherification, you know, and I saw no mention of it there.

But using battery proximity radiation in near vicinity - brilliant!

Cheers,
