Physical Measurements for BP26

Hi

Does anyone know the height of the BP26 including the MPS-2?

Also, is there a minimum clearance (top and sides) required for ventilation for the MPS-2?

Hi,

No minimum clearance other than the feet on the bottom.

Each unit including feet is 2.75 inches for a total of 5.5 inches if you stack them.

At the risk of being a "smart @$$", I have the benefit of 3 cups of coffee under my belt, so the neurons have been firing for a while and the brain pan is all warmed up.

It is still early in the new year, so James is naturally forgiven.

 2.75"+ 2.75"= 5.5"

heres a monkey wrench...

if the faceplate is actually higher than the top panel of the enclosure then would not the height of the rubber feet of the preamp on top be "absorbed" as part of the measurement? Probably not too clear on my part but the picture of the combo looks like the top plate sits a little lower than its faceplate does and therefore if its true than the estimated total height of both units together is:

fullsize power supply = 2.75"
preamp less the height of the feet, say only 2.5"
for a total of 5.25"

Guess I don't have enough work to do if I'm contemplating this

Hi Ron,

Good thought - I will officially measure mine at home tonight and let you know the stacked height.

OK - here it is.
The BP26 plus MPS-2 stacked is 5.25 inches.
The BP26 or MPS 2 on their own is 2.75 inches.
