Outlaw 1.5 cut off point.

Why isn't the lower driver run full range?  Aren't there some phase issues using a filter. I was thinking of bypassing that filter.  Just thinking there just might be an improvement considering different room treatment seen from us all.  Thanks in advance, Bob.

Hi Bmotorcycle2003,

If the lower driver was run full range you would have phase issues as both drivers are now handling the higher frequencies which are more directional - you lose that single point source.  With the lower driver rolled off at 500Hz the sound waves coming from that driver are no longer directional, leaving the top driver as a true single point source.
