Thank you guys for a very warm welcome :D Looks like it is going to be fun.

I was a bit late to offer something to the seller, I couldn't figure out how to PM someone, my bad. I'll keep looking. Thank you once again :)

A few posts are required before you can PM.

Lin, that's a great idea. :thumb:

In doing so sellers maximizes the effective reach of their ad and non-members can participate immediately without having to sign up and wait for the membership process to complete.

Well, I think it violates the AC rules.......Joining to post ads is pretty pathetic.

That's not how I read Lin's post. He's simply stating that as a member he includes his email address in his ads so outsiders can respond to his ads. What's wrong with that?

The OP joined to reply to an ad.  :duh:

I have been a member for 10 years and have posted over 1500 ads.

Hey, you cannot post about what you cannot listen to!

I know, we are a community that loves active members, but some folks out there apparently just buy some gear, and listen to tunes and that's it!

Welcome Lord Raven in any case.  I have played around with car, head fi, and home theater, but settled into 2 channel stereo at home as the best way to satisfy my musical needs.

I hope you hang around some - we may have a lot to learn from you!

Well, yes. What is wrong with that? I'm on head-fi, computer audiophiles, diyma, diyAudio, some home country forums and next I'm going to join some Australian forums as I'm migrating soon.

I am not here to just sell stuff or buy stuff, I'm here to learn something new. I did not even know about this forum, until someone suggested me me to join it.

I think I should read the forum rules before I offend people.

It's my alias on almost all the forums. I wanted something big, authoritative, dark and mystic. It gives me that feeling. In Indian religion there is a figure known as Rawan, some say that it is derived from there. Let me tell you, it is just a name. Raven is a bird I like for many reasons, I just added Lord in front of it to make it sound big.
