It's my alias on almost all the forums. I wanted something big, authoritative, dark and mystic. It gives me that feeling. In Indian religion there is a figure known as Rawan, some say that it is derived from there. Let me tell you, it is just a name. Raven is a bird I like for many reasons, I just added Lord in front of it to make it sound big.

Awesome... Welcome to the board  :thumb:

Hey, you cannot post about what you cannot listen to!

I know, we are a community that loves active members, but some folks out there apparently just buy some gear, and listen to tunes and that's it!

Welcome Lord Raven in any case.  I have played around with car, head fi, and home theater, but settled into 2 channel stereo at home as the best way to satisfy my musical needs.

I hope you hang around some - we may have a lot to learn from you!

Right now I'm trying to make myself familiarize with the site map. Definitely, it's a mutual interest. I have moved slightly away from car audio and now I'm rocking the head-fi. I'm going to add HiFi soon. Problem is I'm always travelling and cannot settle down. Next big move is going to be Australia

I'm going to presume positive intent, welcome you to the boards, and hope that, whether or not you came for the marketplace, you'll stay for the conversations.

We need to respect the fact that there are different personalities. Some people prefer to observe and listen rather than actively participate, they may 'check in' frequently or even daily; so in a passive sense, they are still participating.
Nonetheless, welcome Lord Raven.

Thanks, I am going to try to stay :D The environment is very different, the website layout is confusing. The most comfortable I feel is on head-fi.org, then there is diyma, which is like home to me.
