Hmmm,do I sell my 7's and get 4 cubed or do I buy 28/2?
Nothing,I have the upgrade itch. Everyone loves the 28's and beleive there is a noticeable difference between them and all other Bryston amp models. I think you have both 7's & 28's, your thoughts.
I was planning on updateing my 7's & now James is thinking it might not happen. Lately I have upgraded equipment in my primary system. BDP-1, to BDP-2 to which I added the new sound card. BDA-2 to BDA-3 and they have been noticeable improvements, not suttlle. Even adding a Bit-20 the background became, darker, more quiet.
James has been coy with the present sucsseion of new equipment. So far, my purchases have exceeded my
expectation. I have a feeling the cube is another step forward. I guess what I'm pondering is do I purchase 28/2 or now go with new 7 cubed if there is no update for the 7's.
The other problem that many of us deal with is the WAF. The price for new 7 cube would cost about the same to purchase 28/2. However the 28/cube would be another $15,000. It's a little difficult to justify that to the wife. LOL!
I wish I was able to audition. That takes a little more ambition on my part.
