Hi James,
I only took three pictures in your room,
one that I've posted and that you already saw and two more,
I will be more than happy to send them to you as soon
as my Internet connection go back to cruising speed.
I am not sure the pictures tell much about the quality of your equipment,
but that only what I have to offer.
When I am back on planet Vietnam at the Saigon Hi-End show in September,
I will take some nicer pictures of Bryston equipment that your rep. will display.
Thanks and keep up the good work,
only a few Canadian manufacturers offer good and affordable equipment like you.

Guy 13
Soon to be back on planet Vietnam. :D

Hi all,
my Internet connection is still not up to cruising speed,
however, I can post text, no problem.
The Montreal Audio Show held at Hotel Bonnaventure
in my opinion is a very bad choice of location,
I am it is very easily accessible via bus and subway,
but the way the room are laidout is terrible,
everyone overthere is trying to figure out where to go,
it's like a labyrhinte, cavern....  :duh:
You can easily miss some rooms...
There was a good numbers of exhibitors, but like in many hotels,
room are small and acoustic is terrible.
For me, only a few rooms - equipment sounded good.
Of course Bryston room acoustic was not bad and there was another room
with some Open Baffle speakers (I guess less prone to room acoustic) sound good,
most od them suffer from bad boom, boom bass...
Many exhibitors played their music way too loud.
500  to 1,000$ power cable and many don'r realized that that money would be
better spent on acoustic treatment of their listening room.
Yes, me too, would benefit from acoustic treatment in - on my planet Vietnam listening room.
Is it worth to trip overthere ? Yes, because it's free admission and second,
it give you an idea of what's available and the trends of audio.
I was more or less surprised to see a few turntable and tube amplifiers.
Well sorry for my very incomplete report on the show,
but I was there more for myself than for others and has you can see,
I am not a too good audio reporter, well O.K. a bad audio reporter.
Well if you could not be there, at least you saw a few pictures.
Any questions ???

MEMO: To All Bryston Customers
SUBJECT: Bryston Demo - Montreal 2016

“God bless the exhibitor who does my work for me:

While I enjoyed an all-Bryston system in what was surely the nicest suite of rooms in this part of the temporarily troubled Bonaventure Hotel, the company's Gary Dayton wrote down all of the gear being used: Bryston's Mini T stand-mounted loudspeakers, 4B3 amplifier BP-26 preamplifier BDA-3 DAC BDP2 music player and BIT20 power conditioner. (At next year's show I will ask him to crop and edit my photographs for me.)

The system was a shade bright for my tastes, but at the same time it was explicit in a musically informative way, and it made a recently made guitar-rock recording (I'm ashamed to say I neglected to write down the name of the artist, thinking I would not forget it—yet I did) sound incandescently exciting.”

Hi all,
maybe someone will do a better job than me at covering the Montreal Audio Show,
but anyway, here are a few pictures to give to some of you that could not make it
a rough idea of what was there.

The VPI turntable was an item that was impressive, nice looking
and I am sure with nice quality sound
but over the budget of many of us.
Also electronics by Moon Audio.
Could not hear any music the guy was talking and talking and talking....

Thin, but nice sound...

I use to own a Linn table like that (LP12)
it did not change much or at all.
When you have a winner from the bigginning, why change anything.

From what I've heard in the room,
those diffusers are made in Montreal.
They can be custom made to fit your needs.

I could no believe my eyes...  :o

Please keep in mind that the wires inside the amplifier to which they are attached
thos monstrous cable are probably 14 ga. max.  :duh:
