Who is going to Axpona

So who is going to Axpona this year?

Both VSA and Endeavor Audio will be at Axpona 2016. VSA will be in room 426 showing the VR-55's with the Constellation electronics,EMMLabs Dac, and the YFS music server. Endeavor will be in room 436 showing the new E-3 MkII with the Audio Alchemy electronics.

I've purchased my show pass. I should start looking into rooms next.. Maybe we VSA/Endeavor fans and designers can all grab dinner nearby?

Great question, does the hotel fill up fast? When?

Also do they give a pamphlet telling you which rooms have what, at the show?

When you pickup your badge from the registration desk at AXPONA they give you a show directory. It lists the brands primarily being represented in each room, but it does not always include a list of specific components on display.

Hello Folsom,

The hotels book pretty fast so the sooner the better for reservations. Show dates are April 15-17

The Westin is offering a AXPONA rate of $155/night-8776986000 which is a pretty good rate.. Won't last long... I just booked.

Skolis, what is the hotel #. I may have tried the wrong Marriot 6155 N River Rd ($214) before moving on to Westin.. I'm a Marriott guy and prefer them.. thx!

OK..........there has been a change for the show. Blue Smoke Entertainment Systems is now the Chicago dealer for VSA. We will now be in the Burton Room for Axpona which is located on the lower level. These are the bigger rooms. We are still showing the VR-55's but will be using VAC electronics along with the MSB Dac and Blue Smokes music server.

Endeavor Audio will now be in room 426 with Audio Alchemy.

I've always enjoyed the sound of VSA with VAC gear. I think the bigger room will be a nice fit for the 55's,, giving them a chance to breathe and allowing more audiophiles a chance to comfortably enjoy. I'm really looking forward to hearing that new tweeter on the E3's as well... Going to be a fun show.... Last time I attended Axpona the new 100's were the talk of the show. . First showing of the 55's at Axpona?

Many of the lower level (basement) rooms were poured concrete walls, and as I recall cubic or near the size of double cubes, so plan on lots of treatments.
