Linears can be complicated especially if Automatic.
$60/hr is cheap. Most of the time it's $125/hr.Linears can be complicated especially if Automatic. The shipper/ seller is responsible for anything not working and poor packing.Up to you, I'd ship it back.I know this doesn't help much. Sorry.Oooo man, Just looked that one up it's a monstrosity of mechanics and electronics.Stick to manual tables.
Geez, maybe you should have asked before you bought the table? I agree, you should return it. It wasn't as advertised and that should be all you need. Return the belts too. Assuming the SL-1600 is good to go, did you get a cart? I see you're asking about < $200 phono stages. Maybe it's time to settle down and maximize what you've got. If you're busy running around spending more money trying to fix this table..... BTW, most professional packers don't know how to pack a table.neo
$125 an hour??? Is this my german vehicle mechanic prices?? lol~ No thanks~ The problem with this place is that they want you pay a deposit first before doing anything, they won't even consider giving you an estimate without you forking over some $$$
Neo, I asked in informed the shipper to packed this table correctly... According to the listing, it states "mint condition, 100% working" clean etc etc... Sooooooo... But I don't want to return the TT, I want to solve the issue, atleast the seller is willing to work with me and provide me with some form of refund, I'm not sure if $100 will solve the problem though~
