Some people including me just call them wedges, calling them wedgie makes it hard to take them seriously.

How about 'Cor Valens' ; if you want to go with something literal.... It translates to Heart Strong.

Perhaps I used the wrong choice of words. Instead of "recent college grads" I should've said "young professionals." This is an age group that is making steady / reliable income, has enough disposable income to possibly save up to go on a vacation and splurge on good dining experiences, but does not yet have children or major family obligations. While a $1000 component wouldn't be an impulse buy, it is within reach and not a "dream" item.

Hey! I'm a little late to the party, but very cool to read Gary is feeling up to getting back in the saddle.

Not that my $.02 is worth about that much, but how about just LLC-ing 'Dodd Audio' (after clearing up the backlog) and just doing a complete product line refresh/relaunch? There are a lot of "new audio companies", very few quality brands with real longevity - the kind that instill trust in customers and confidence in new buyers through name alone. Further, considering the state of the audio industry as a whole, it might be easier to shore up and build on a good foundation than start at square one having to break the ice all over again in an already rough market?

A little tweek - "Off the GRiD Audio" - an homage to GR Research and Dodd with the capital letters. Feature a logo with the small "i" in a different color than the GR and D.

you could play up the "i" to the Apple crowd, and incorporate the old GR and Dodd logos.
