I don't think your total asking price is clear. I see $300 for the kit and extra materials, but no mention of the cabinets, which you've already got built.

I will sell just the speaker/driver kit for $300 plus shipping as well. Still a heck of a deal  :D

It was fairly clear to me (if I understood correctly  ;) )

The speaker component kit including the pair of assembled (but unfinished) cabinets is $300 for local pickup in or near Connecticut.  If you're not local, you can still buy just the component kit only without cabinets also for $300 (+ shipping), which is still a good price for an unused kit.

Exactly and thanks. It's $300 either way you slice it. You get the cabinets for free.  :D

Nope, but if you're local you're welcome to come and give them a listen.  :)

I could also be persuaded to sell them so I could build another pair differently. But I would want more then the kit price that I was asking originally.

What they currently look like.

Thanks for the offer.  I would love to audition them, but I live in Dallas.  That would be a long drive.  :-)

I checked out the pics of them.  They turned out really nice.  How do you like the sound?  Can you describe it?

I'm not hip enough on the terms and stuff. I also believe that my room could use some sound treatments to get more 3d going on. I will say though that I was listening to my tekton lore speakers when I finally got around to finishing these and put my lores for sale immediately. The sound with these is much more warm and put together. The highs on the tektons were grating to me and I didn't' even realize it until these were playing. The x-statiks are nice and wide open but could use more 3d for me. I believe that to be my room though. I'm really new to the stuff.
For the cost of the kit, I don't know if these could be beat as long as you're not a full range open baffle guy. I have not had much success in putting together something that sounds so cohesive. Open yes, but not as enjoyable for me.
Danny is a master a x-over design. Don't think that can be debated and it shows in the sound.
