Vinyl reissues from digital sources

Love vinyl.
But does one buy a record for ex. Greenday's "Dookie" LP which mostly was originally recorded digitally, now reissued on Vinyl.

Does one still get any Vinyl goodness from buying a reissued LP that was originally recorded digitally?
Should I just get the CD?
Thanks!

I would start by reading this thread:

The real answer is "it depends."
Personally I love buying the vinyl version of digitally recorded stuff just because...
uh, no valid reason...

I have lots of vinyl that was originally recorded digitally. I doubt anyone could tell the difference (except for Neil Young).......
