I just took delivery of a new 200 and with about 5 hours on it with a house full of people last night and more on the way today it will be some time before I have an informed opinion to make. I didn't even register it or check for updates on their site. Once all that is done and my speaker cables have to resettle in (had to reverse them to use my bananas on the amp end as the spades wouldn't fit), get a few more hours on the unit I will be happy to report back with an update. I will advise that if you want to use an aftermarket power cord it will have to have a termination at the amp end that isn't too large in diameter or you won't get the rear panel that covers all the connections to attach.Seasons greetings to all.
jhm731 - thanks for the recommendations. I tired to update from 7.1.0 to 7.1.1 but failed miserably , neither the website nor manual is over-detailed on how to accomplish this function. I am sure I am just missing something easy and have emailed Devialet for assistance.
I would love to try one, maybe someone could buy one and put it on an AC tour?
No Hyperbole...http://www.stereophile.com/content/devialet-d-premier-da-integrated-amplifier-measurementsOther than its slightly anomalous behavior via WiFi, the Devialet D-Premier's measured performance is a testament to what can be obtained with switching-amplifier technology. However, sustained high-power operation into speakers with an impedance of 4 ohms or below is best avoided.— John AtkinsonRule me out .......
I bought the Devialet 200 back in October and have 0 regrets. An absolutely fantastic machine. On the financial side, I'm way ahead as well. The 200 replaced a really nice separate amp, preamp and dac along with two sets of AQ Sky interconnects and two VH Audio power cords which sold (used) for roughly $17K. The Devialet 200 retails for ~$9,500. TONEAudio and SoundStage Ultra have great reviews to check out, as well as some linked on their website. The only drawback I've encountered is actually the Devialet website. As mentioned below, it's really clunky to navigate.Highly recommended!Kenreau

I've had a DarTZeel CTH integrated and top line SimAudio separates along with a dCS Debussy dac and don't miss the separates at all. I firmly believe I'm hearing the best sound quality I've ever had. The simple form factor, truly integrated and optimized devices, user adjustability and upgradeability are without match (that I am aware of). A big selling point for me with the Devialet was the ability to high pass filter the output for my Vandersteen 5As (allowing me to eliminate the inline HP filters needed). In addition, it offers a HT bypass mode. You get an amp, preamp, dac, streamer and phono preamp all in one stylish medium size pizza box shape. On the financial side, I'm way ahead as well.
