I just want to preface this, I have never owned any Omega product and have very little experience with them. I read a lot of fan boy commentary (which after this review I will be a fan boy myself:) and that swayed me to drop a dime and call Louis. I called Louis, liked the tone of his voice and decided to take a flyer… and I’m glad I did….
Just to save time, I took a few quotes that I sent to two different audio buddies of mine during the first 100 hours. Please forgive me for the poor grammar.

Quick up date.... OH MAN, ME LIKE!......First of all, these are the nicest 1k-ish built speaker i have ever seen. The cabinets are beautiful, no Chinese crap, SOLID..USA USA ..lol... right out of the box they sound pretty good. I’ve been playing them for about 2 hours and you can hear them starting to sound much nicer. No worries about the highs, all there and at this point fairly nice and smooth. The mids is were they real excel...smooooth and balanced .Give them a hundred hours and i think they will really start to sound really good.... As you know, I have had 6 sets of speakers in here over the last 3-4 months and these are the only ones i would consider keeping and that's only after 2 hours.. these speakers need as dynamic of an amp as they can get. the Linn sounds very good but something with more slew rate/head room....

I've never had a full range driver based speaker before but all i can say is WOW! Smooth and dynamic. Having No “traditional” tweeter scared me but it's all there and no fatigue. As you said .. the mid-range is very special, so much tone and timber. Instruments and voices sound right. No holes in driver integration. I only have about 15 hours on them so they need sometime to open up. ...

I wish you guys could hear these………………..
About 100 hours in they are starting to sound much better. Bass is better but not enough for me. …But, then again, they are only monitors and no design is perfect. What they lack in slam, they make up in all other categories. I plan on adding 2 12” speed subs.
I Just listened to Jeff Beck Scatter brain, oh man do the speakers sound good. Scatter brain is just that, it’s a very complicated piece with a ton of pace and lot going on. The speaker handled it beautifully.. DYNAMIC.. PACE... TONE.... TOUCH ...Emotion...
I guess you can tell I like these speakers. I also think they are a great value. This is one of the few components I have ever purchased that I felt I got my moneys worth… maybe more… Throw in a couple of subs and for right around 3k you would have an incredible full range system that would be VERY hard to beat at twice the price….Anywho, Happy listening…
