Kewl! Others can chime in with advice about making sure the crossover is wired properly. Once you confirm that you're getting treble and bass from the panels (from an amp comfortable generating at least 75-100 watts per channel at 4 ohms) try setting them up in an equilateral triangle (equal spacing between the speakers and each speaker to the listening chair) keeping the speakers at least a couple of feet away from side walls and preferably 6 feet from the rear wall. Toe in the speakers so the tweeters converge behind the listener's head a foot or so. Place the tweeters in; that is, so the left and right tweeters are as close to each other as they can be. This will most likely NOT be the best setup in his room, but should give a solid taste of what these babies can deliver. Once we kow the actual room shape and dimensions, we can recommend more interesting setups.
