7BSST² Upgrades
« on: 28 Feb 2014, 12:43 am »
I'm considering getting my 7BSST²'s upgraded with the new transformer and capacitors. I'm wondering is there any other upgrades that can be performed while my amps would be in the Bryston shop.

Have there been any other improvements since 2010 besides the 2 mentioned?

Hi

Yes check with Mike on that as I believe there are a couple of small parts changes on the circuit boards we have added as well.

My 7's are pre S/N 001825. I talked to Mike P and he said there has been a few updates since 2010. He never stated what they are but these updates are performed at no charge when getting the transformer/caps upgrade.

I have 001850 and 001851 with the transformer/caps upgrade and would certainly be interested in what other updates have occurred since then.  Did Mike describe the updates?
