Hello friends at Audiocircle, my first post here,
I have the Bryston 7B St monoblocks hooked up to my PSB stratus Gold I, The speakers Specs are:

      -Sensitivity: 88dB/W/m.
      -4 ohms nominal

I am also soon adding a Sequerra ribbon super tweeter (HF-1) with a sensitivity of 86db, rated at 7 ohms

Now my big question is,
should I use the Voltage mode, (Series) or the current mode, (parallel)?

Thanks, really appreciate any input.

You can certainly try it both ways, but I think you'll get better sound quality and more voltage headroom with series mode. a 7 ohm speaker isn't going to be drawing the extraordinary amount of current that would necessitate parallel.

Thanks Gary.
Do I have to turn off the amps before I switch from series to parallel and vice versa?

Thanks for the replies. I will try series and parallel modes and find out.
Yes the Gold i's do sound really nice with the Bryston 7B St's. I love this combination, however I find them just a tad dark, so I am hoping that with the Sequerra super tweeters they will open a up a bit.
I am also using the BP-26 preamp, and have only good things to say about it.
