Hey fellas! Been "restructuring" and getting myself in a better place in work and life in general. Things are GOOD!!!I decided to step away from Serenity for now and will be back to my old shenanigans again. I'll be posting some finished sub enclosures later this evening if I can get some good pics together.Ruben
Can't wait to see them!
Ruben great to hear you worked life out. We missed you here. Best of luck with your new life. Your talent is priceless glad your back.charles
Very attractive finish.
Also glad to see yo back Ruben, been missing all those great pics of your work -jay
<snip>I'm in the planning stages of a custom job consisting of (6) servo subs right now. (4) single twelves and (2) dual eights. All piano black. I'll post some good pics when they're ready.Best,Ruben
Here's how the above subs look from the back.Ruben
Are the dual eights sealed? If so - what are the dimensions? - Thanks - Really glad to see you posting again!
Ruben,Beautiful as usual. How do you attach leatherette, glued liker veneer, padded and stapled like upholstery or what?Mike
Hi Mike! It's applied using an upholstery adhesive. The subs are not padded, but the leatherette has a nice soft touch to it.Ruben
Ruben,Thanks. So do the front and rear baffle overlap the edges and seal against the leatherette using it like a gasket or is that an optical illusion?Mike
Hi Rick!Yep, they're sealed. Internal volume is 0.7 cu ft. They are going to be used as stands and will be built to match the footprint of the mains.Ruben
