couple of questions about my 7BSST's
« on: 23 Nov 2013, 06:55 pm »
Hi all , I have 2x 7bsst'S for my front L/R channels which i use the 12 v trigger from my processor , on power up sometimes the start up click (relay i presume) sort of double clicks or clicks   a few times , they always power up and work fine though . is this the start of a problem ??
Also I have just added a new processor to my system a primare SP 32 (which sounds excellent) I had them connected with RCA cables but i thought the XLR's would be a better option , so i changed the cables from  RCA's to XLR's and set the  switches on the back to balanced input and 2V gain  , i have noticed i need to turn the processor volume up a lot more to get the same level as with the RCA's ..
Can i use the gain on 1v with XLR cables ?
I would appreciate any advice ..
thanks .

Hi

It is just a function of the incoming power rush - no concerns at all.
