I've been curious about that woofer. Looking forward to hearing some listening impressions of it. :)

Nice! Let us know if you think it is the step up from the Revalator the designer considers it to be  :thumb:

What's the driver lineup for the 3 way?

i hope its TD12 or any other 93db woofer  :D

as the satori 4ohm is 91.5db plus baffle step, you're looking at 93db mids  8)

The 3-way is a custom theater design with the 8" woofers from the Ottavo and a SB Acoustics tweeter. I'm also designing a matching center channel (also dual 8" 3-way).

Not really true, especially if the impedance is going to be reasonable in the midrange.

The theater is up and running but I'm waiting on a few other things to be completed by the audio/video contractor before I take pictures. I can tell you that the Satori driver performs well and is right up there with the best. The midrange quality is exceptionally good and the bass has nice weight and clarity.

"Uragano" which is hurricane in Italian. I chose it because I think this speaker will cause quite a stir at its' price. $1,350/pr. for the kit (includes shipping and everything you'll need except the cabinets and damping material. Assembled pairs starting at $2,100 including shipping to the mainland USA.

Wow!  Looks like a great value.

Cheers, Mac

That cabinet is too large for this design.
