Has anyone tried phase plugs on their betsyk's? I have a set in MLTL's. They sound great. Just wondering if the plugs would be a good move.

Hey ejfud, Where did you find them? Or did you make them?

They came with a one homemade pair, and I just did a few others from doweling to play with and see what difference I could hear.

Looks like a 3/4" dowel might work. I'll see if I can make a set.

That sounds right. Here's a picture of the Betsy's.

WOW! That's some nice woodworking on the enclosure. I'll chuck up some dowels in the lathe and see how they come out.

Just under 25mm diameter is required. I still have some.

Have you tried any of your upgrades on the Betsyk's? I've read a lot of your posts at DIY. I remember reading about the plugs.

I have 2 of the 1st batch of Betsy which i understand had a manufacturing issue with the cone material. I gave one set the full treatment which worked well.

They sure look better with the upgrades.
I have these in a pair of MLTL's that GM designed for me. I'm doing a total system upgrade. So I figured the speakers are first. I'll go to your site and check out the plugs.
Thanks,
