RMAF 2013 - who's coming?

OK folks, this time I'm getting the discussion and planning started earlier for the VSA circle. I've booked, am arriving Friday morning, leaving Monday (unless plans change). Who else is coming to RMAF?

It would be great if you actually made it to1 of the RMAF shows. I'm sure you could offer a few pointers once you heard my system, and it would be great if this happened before I actually CAN'T HEAR ANYMORE!!!!

Does anyone know for sure if VSA will be at the show and what speakers they may have there? That's the main reason I would go.

Well, based on this thread, VSA will definitely be there. Hopefully they will give details on what they are bringing here. If not, just give them a call and ask.

I am crossing my fingers that they bring the VR-44s to AXPONA this coming year...

Von Schweikert Audio is pleased to announce that we will have three rooms at RMAF with a nice assortment of our speakers:

VR-100XS in room #550 with Constellation Audio. This room will also feature the UHA tape deck and second generation master tapes.

VR-44 Aktive with YFS in room #542. YFS is the company that builds the most incredible music server. They will also be using Constellation gear.

VR-33 in room #9013 with PS Audio. Paul of PS Audio told me that their system will feature their best products and will rock!

I did, and have a few questions and comments about room #9013 with Paul from PS Audio. The VR-35's were used instead of the 33's, so I definitely wanted to check this room out, since I just purchased a pair of them. I thought they sounded pretty good, but was puzzled when I saw them so far out from the front wall. I walked over and had a look, and although I saw speaker cables hooked up to the bass binding posts, they did not appear to be wired to an amp, but instead ran behind a sub woofer, and were just lying there. I asked Paul about this arrangement, but was given the biggest snub by anyone in recent memory! The guy just turned his head and flat out ignored me, as he started talking to someone else. Anyway my guess is, the 10" woofer section of the 35's were not being used, and Paul had a sub woofer hooked up instead. Does anyone know for sure if this was the case?
