Any recommendations on a 12VDC power supply? Something with a standard cord. I need it to have terminal connections because the other end is going to have terminal connections. I just need to hard wire it and not worry about cutting off connectors.

I was almost going to get one of these to mess around with (you need the safety cover too) - http://www.newark.com/sola-hevi-duty/sls-12-034t/power-supply-linear-12v-40-8w/dp/93K6598    Saw them cheap on E-Bay once.  I guess at some point I may look at it again for the HAL MS-2 Music Server.

You looking for a linear power supply or just a 12V one.?  Parts Express and MCM Electronics probably have plenty of cheap ones.  I actually can look upstairs.  I might have one laying around somewhere but you would have to cut off the connector.  I've seen the one I posted for about 60% less on e-Bay at least once.

There's no shortage of their products on e-Bay.  I started looking at 5V ones way back when I had the HDMI audio de-embedder (vs. the Meitner DAC) as the main thing I used for SACDs into the DAC.  I have 3 of those (5V) now (actually have a 4th I bought from a surplus place and I soldered a connector on it - never tried but I made it for Karl whom you got stands from).  I'll use one for the Squeezebox Touch and maybe I'll get DACs or a DAC for a spare system and use another and have a spare.  Below are some links on e-Bay:

Yes - Someone (Karl) told me he wanted it a while ago.  I have not talked to him in a couple of months.
