Well in that case, by all means list it as a package w/ a high reserve on ebay! Then you can make a show that you tried to sell them......then place the gear somewhere out of sight until you're ready to use them again. Out of sight, out of mind.......
I should let it go to someone that would enjoy it as I did.
The biggest thing is, I probably wont use it. I have moved up over the years and really like my present system. In all fairness the Dynaco system is just going to sit in the closet. I should let it go to someone that would enjoy it as I did.
I know how it is.....However, if you are going to let it go, then let it go. Sell it as individual pieces. The first thing most buyers will be thinking when looking at the lot will be "hm, if I sell X and Y, how much will I get, and will the Z that I want then be a good deal"...
Indiansprings, you said that "everything is in original condition", but you neglected to tell us how well each unit is performing electrically. Will the amplifier bias properly at 1.56V DC at the front panel biasset tube socket pins? Do both channels have equal clean output? Are the preamplifier switches and controls and jacks noise free and working properly? How about hum levels in the components? Do both channels have equal output with the balance control centered? Will the FM3 tune stations on their correct frequency positions? Does the tuned window close properly? Will it play quietly in stereo? Does the stereo window close properly? How much background hum does it have.Your description needs some help to allow you to get best value from these units. Right now its like saying that you have an old car with decent bodywork, but not mentioning whether it runs and drives well or not.Regards,Frank Van Alstine
