A wise move : thinking of subscribing to TAS just to read the upcoming review.

And on the 1.7 page they also mention of pair of those available at a memphis warehouse for home demo, which will certainly be a great thing for people w/in reasonable distance.

I'd suggest that they promote a marketing tactic like Salk : owner volunteers willing to do home demos.  Maggie owners I think are almost as devoted to be willing to do that.  Specially if you offered them some small incentive, like a small discount or something on future purchases......

Now if they could just do something about their website design  :(

I think I saw somewhere here on AC a web designer was also gripping about audiophile co's dated / poor website and willing to do some pro-bono work......Magnepan should take him up on the offer!  I like clean / minimal websites, but the text formatting and links / photos haphazardly strewn across the web page, not so much.

I suspect they're administering a beating right this very moment.
That must be one of the perks they offer to the workforce.  The pay's not so hot but the women get to smack the web site design guy a good shot with their purses on the way out the door on Friday night.
