Hi James,

With the developments on this new async USB module what else will be changed?

I will add my wishlist of improvements for the SP3:

1) 1 RCA coaxial (SPDIF) output
2) Additional USB input
3) Not sure the present Toslink output is capable of 24b/192k for digital signals - great addition if possible
4) DACs will be remain the same or will they be updated as well?
5) HDMI switching from inputs, sometimes you need to restart the source for SP3 to sync properly
6) Will the display have more capabilities for messages/customization features?

And I can't wait to review another favorable report about the SP3 :D :D....

Ciao, Luigi :green:

Hey James,

An additional item for my wishlist of upgrades to SP3 :thumb:;

7) Apple/Android compatible?

What would be the timing of the proposed changes to the SP3 - this year?

Ciao, Luigi :green:

Based on another thread (thanks again, Stan), I learnt that I can connect my turntable, have Aux l+r for bass output, AND still use analogue bypass mode. The change in audio quality is not trivial, my LPs are getting a spin even as I write this...

I was previously using stereo mode as I thought bass redirection to Aux required it. As a caution to anyone using stereo mode for a stereo analogue source, don't do it.
