Two systems, one set of subs....
« on: 22 Mar 2013, 07:06 pm »
Ok,

I don't know if i can do this right or if I just have to bite the bullet.  I am regulated to my man cave that has turned in to a kids cave with inwalls all around and two subs.  I would like to use the subs for the time being on both my 2 channel system and their theater.

Can I, without causing issues, hook up my subs to the Integra 40.2 and my Dodd Preamp?

Please advise... I'm guessing I will have ground loop issues or other>>...

I have a system(s) like that.

I have 4 VMPS LARGER subs that I use for my High Performance 2 Channel System and I add 2 more (a Velodyne and a JBL) for HT.

I accomplish it by using a XO from NHT called the X-2.

It has an LFE (single) input, and Stereo Inputs along with separate volume setting for each.

You just shouldn't play both at the same time.

I heard they discontinued this model, but if you can find a used one, they are great. :thumb:
