Absolute terms are usually expressed more readily than value I've found at these shootouts...having both accessible to all will be handy.

I should add (warning

crass commercial message coming...) all will be heard thru the magnificent VMPS RM-40's at Big B's.

Crass and overtly commerical (hell, it's Brian's site we're on for God's sake), but true. You need only to ask the panelists at the 2003 CES and Martin de Wulf.

As I HAPPILY own fully loaded RM 40's, that isn't an issue for me.

Chair Guy,

I realize it was probably just a typo, but the RM40 won their CES award in 2002 (not 2003). The 2003 award went to a processor (that was hooked to Brian's RM/X speakers).

I'm not trying to be nit-picky, but some newbie might read your post and go research for themselves (only to find out the RM40s weren't the winner, and not research further).

Ah, right you are Kevin...I tried to do it from memory instead of looking at VMPSAudio.com for a reference.
