LOL
Those are nice speakers. I heard VS speakers many years ago in an Audio store that sadly is gone now. They were the best sounding speakers they sold at the time.

looks like very nice speakers , wished i had a pair.

I just saw an episode or two of "The lottery changed my life."  Hilarious in my warped sense of humor.  I saw two things that truly made me laugh out loud...

One guy won about $200 million.  He said he went to buy a stereo and the salesman suggested a B&O system.  He said "I thought it was some off-brand junk until the salesman told me it cost $100k and was the best stereo ever made, so I just had to have it."  It sits against a wall in the foyer/entry way to his house.  It's in an 80's department store looking rack with the speakers against the sides of the rack.  I'm sure the salesman had a field day with that clown.

Another guy had some white van speakers in his theater room.  I instsntly recognized them because I had a pair my father gave me when I first went away to college - Carpeted Becker speakers.  I loved those things.  Regret giving them to my brother in law who delivered the death-blow to them by leaving them out on his deck during a snow storm.  No amount of beer, liquor, puke, pot smoke or co-eds dancing on them at my fraternity house gave them so much as a hiccup.  I'm pretty sure a dog pissed on them, and there was a rumor of someone entertaining his girlfriend on them (to put it nicely).  I miss those speakers!

What I really learned from that show - being white trash exponentially increases your chances of winning the lottery.

It would have to be this combo:

Unless I hit the lottery it's never going to happen but I can always dream.

Hi all Audio Circle members.
My dream piece of audio equipment is:
Pioneer vintage receiver
and/or a McIntosh tube FM stereo tuner.
My dream speaker I have already, the GR Research V1.
My dream turntable is VPI Scout with Ortophon or Dynavector MM cartridge.
My dream CD/Blu ray player is the OPPO
My dream interconnects and cables: Blue Jeans.
My dream line filter: I have already the Majik Buss.
I am not dreaming of very expensive audio stuff, but vintage looking items, that are good, but not extraordinary.

Have one for testing while my gm200 gets new tubes, fitted by
Mr. Mariani "the master" himself.
The gm400 has the best from gm200 and lots more, it has a unique
feature. The progressive(raising with power) damping factor, which combines
all the best conditions for a great performance!
