WAY overdue, but it's good to finally say "congrats" to Geddy, Neil, and Alex.

As someone posted earlier, the RnRHOF is a total farce, but it's the only game in town.  I ought to start a competing organization and call it the "The Hall of Fame of Real Rock n' Roll."  Rush would have been there long ago, while Madonna and Abba and the numerous others that have no business being associated with anything titled "rock n' roll" wouldn't be allowed within a 300 mile radius.

Exactly my feelings, thanks for saving me the time to type it.  Not caring much about the RnRHOF, I just assumed Rush had long ago been inducted.  The fact that they weren't confirms our opinion of it and the reason why it's in Cleveland and that I'll, with any luck, never be there again.

Much more excited for Public Enemy!

I must be old and/or out of touch.  Who is Public Enemy?

I also thought Rush would've been inducted many, many, many moons ago.

I am very happy to see Rush get recognition after all these years.the Rock and Roll hall of Fame has never really warmed up to progressive rock bands yet Madonna got right in  is what she does even considered rock music?

Randy Newman, too.
I think I'll have to dig out some of his albums for this evening.

I used to live around the corner from Alex and my friend used to live near Geddy.  I love Rush and this is totally overdue.

I also think that Takes a Nation of a Million to Hold us Back by Public Enemy is a landmark rap album.

Rap is not rock n roll; in fact, it is not even music!
