Turntable and Vinyl Related Videos.
« on: 15 Nov 2012, 05:19 am »
Hey!

Instead of starting a thread for every video clip found. I think it will be cool to put it on one thread.

So, here to start. Something interesting I came across while I was watching video on youtube about gramophone....

1956 RCA's "The Sound and The Story"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Il-F3Rq7heY

Very cool to see all the process going into making vinyl back in the old days.

So, if you have or found any video related to turntable and vinyl please share it here.

Take care,
Buddy :thumb:

PS

Here is link to my gramophone thread if interested..

I've heard that is CGI.

It is kind of fun nonetheless.

Well...

I heard it from the video makers.

There is this video where the video makers says this, "This vid was a collaboration with Conscious Minds. Peter Cote shot it and I directed, edited and did the FX."

They also show a test shot they made, and he says, "The main problem was I made it too clean. For the finished piece I worked on making the records bang around before they settled.".

Hey!

I'm sure some of you remembered this one...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3_dOWYHS7I

Lauryn Hill's "Everything is Everything" from 1999... back in the days when MTV actually showing music videos. man! How time files.

As a New Yorker and audiophile I really like the concept of this. I'm pretty sure one or more of people behind this music video is an audiophile.... check out the Rega tonearm and Benz Micro Gilder cart used here instead of DJ standard Technics table.
