Hi James,
Don't know if a topic on this matter already exists (I did a search and found nothing), but what's the chance of a Bryston ADC (analogue to digital convertor)?
It would need to be capable of up to 24 bits and 96khz sampling.
It should have the capability of also dumping the output in the form of a WAV (or the Apple eqivalent) on to an attached drive, either USB or a network share. This way it would be a digital recorder as well.
Obviously, you could use it with something like Audacity as well but the ability to record without a computer would be great too.
A front panel mounted input level knob with some kind of level meter or maybe this could be all done via an iPad app?
What about it?
Oh, and same price, or less, as the BDP-1?
