Bryston ADC

Hi James,

Don't know if a topic on this matter already exists (I did a search and found nothing), but what's the chance of a Bryston ADC (analogue to digital convertor)?

It would need to be capable of up to 24 bits and 96khz sampling.
It should have the capability of also dumping the output in the form of a WAV (or the Apple eqivalent) on to an attached drive, either USB or a network share. This way it would be a digital recorder as well.

Obviously, you could use it with something like Audacity as well but the ability to record without a computer would be great too.

A front panel mounted input level knob with some kind of level meter or maybe this could be all done via an iPad app?

What about it?
Oh, and same price, or less, as the BDP-1?

Wadax
http://www.wadax.eu/?page_id=642
Search for "STREAM PLAYER AND RECORDER"
The Wadax can output the digital data stream convered from an analogue input directly to an attached drive in WAV format.

This unit is causing a real sensation in Europe as nobody has anything anywhere like it.
I spoke to a studio engineer recently and he's been waiting for this for years.
He's ordering one straight away. Abbey Road will be getting one too as will Air too.

anyone would know what hifi-rack this is, seems kind of beautiful, (love the aluminium look)  but I just can not read the labels.

Dank je wel! Geen prijzen te bekennen....

No dealer in the Netherlands, and no prizes.
