Thanks for the flashback. I love these guys and need to get the DVDs.
Not to steal the thread but which is your favorite movie. I've always been a sucker for
"A Night at the Opera" Duck Soup is right there also. Very talented family.

Chico, evidently had a great right hand. Unfortunately, his left was not it's equal and prevented him from becoming a great pianist.

Then thank goodness for the weak left hand.  Had he become just another pianist, the world would have lost the greatest-make that one of the greatest comedy trio ever.

Those would be my picks but I'm hesitant to make a recommendation as it might offend some of our more sensitive members.  Those movies are as funny today as they were when they were made.  Groucho kills me.

Keep in mind Jackie, I come from a lot tougher neighborhood than you. A word to the wise should be sufficient. You ain't much of role model for a volunteer. In fact, your a down right disappointment.

Hey Doc, if you make a smart alek comment towards me, you can expect me to return the favor.  Also, you have no idea where I grew up and I could care less about where you grew up. Your interest in people being "butt hurt" tells me all I need to know about you.

My initial comment in this thread was a joke and this thread is tongue and cheek to begin with.

It took you 17 min. to come up with that reply? Boy, are you out of your league. Kind of a concrete thinker, aren't ya?  Metaphors go over the top of your head, don't they? I don't care much for internet bullies and folks who pick on the helpless.

Gents, stay on topic.  This thread only allows discussion of the greatness of Chico Marx.  No other opinions are allowed.

Rachmaninoff has my vote.  He also was a fantastic composer.   8)
From a talent standpoint, Glenn Gould and Van Cliburn also are in the running.

I gotta go with Jimi Hendrix again as greatest pianist, with Liberace as a close second. :thumb:

Well, if we must consider others, although clearly I am right in defending Chico, then I think you have to consider the genius of Victor Borge
