after getting my first OB i cant go back in box speaker...today even went and audition a 2200$ pair near field speaker and  just walked out....i need to get my OB dose...

so as this is near field ball changes totally....again i am going active 2 way or 3 way not sure yet....i already have a tang band 4inch full range....

Oh, I like that one with the Neo8.  Are you running those with a sub?  Are you knocking down the top end rise of the Neo8?  I'd be inclined to keep working with these, add some woofers and wait on the new project.

No subs yet..may be down the line ....Running active crossover ...running seas from 45-2500 and running Neo8 from 1500-15k.....so far i havent done any measuresment of knocking top...

You might want to get rid of the overlap btw the Seas and Neo8.  AND take measurements.  Design by ear never works out for the best.  Keep having fun!

i am using active crossover so i can change it will just some clicks....wil do..right now enjoying the speakers...i have question can i implement a 6-8 inch woofer sideways with this...

like way they have implemented in V2 from Gr-research....i need to figure out how to bring lows to life

Yup it is sounding really BRIGHT and little HARSH need to tame it down somewhere.....i am thinking to get a Mic and a DEX 2496 behringer to control some frequencies....

this is my first time ig foray iinto DIY so i am still learning....need to know how to tackle down this harshness...

You should be able to perform the EQ with the MiniDSP, correct?  No need for an additional unit.  A mic and sound card or Omnimic from parts express.  Do you have an Iphone?  To get started, you can download an app for frequency measurements, just make sure it is one that takes the phones own mic response into account.  They work well enough to get an idea where the worst dips and peaks are.

DCX2496 will work just fine as will an Android phone if you find a good app.  I used a DCX for years.  It is fine for your desktop use.
