I made an audition disc on which I thought I knew every note, sound, ect. I have been using this disc for years. Earlier this summer I picked up a pair of speakers and when auditioning them I noticed something I either never heard or payed attention to before. The track is Willin' on the Little Feat Waiting for Columbus album and before the band starts playing someone yells "down in front" Later, when I played the track with different speakers on the same system it was much more difficult to discern but since I was focusing on it I did hear it. What was very interesting to me was that the first time I listened to the speakers--not critically-- my initial impression was that they very detailed and clean. I guess I was right!
